The children's author David Walliams lost his contract with publishing house.
Acclaimed children's author and comedian David Walliams is no longer with his UK book publisher, according to an announcement.
A representative for the publisher commented: "After careful consideration, and following the appointment of its new CEO, HarperCollins UK has chosen to cease publishing any new titles by David Walliams."
Reports indicate that the conclusion was reached following an review of claims about questionable actions involving women.
The firm has not elaborated on the motivations for this action, noting: "We do not comment on internal matters."
A Highly Successful Publishing History
Walliams stands as a most best-selling authors for kids, with sales exceeding in excess of 60 million copies worldwide in 55 languages.
His inaugural foray into kids' literature, *The Boy in the Dress*, was published by HarperCollins in 2008.
Some of his titles, such as *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have also been adapted into TV movies.
He has published more than 40 books in total, which features a festive story called *Santa & Son*, which was released through HarperCollins last autumn.

His career breakthrough occurred on the TV sketch series *Little Britain* and has also won National Television Awards for his role as a panelist on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He was awarded an OBE in 2017 honoring his contributions to charity and the arts.
The publisher's decision comes after the naming of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's freshly installed boss this past October.
