Finally viewers can start: opening five minutes of the fifth season of Stranger Things unveiled.
The concluding season of the platform's paranormal blockbuster the hit series is set to be a major events of 2024. The first part premieres on the 27th of November, yet a preview of the eerie initial moments has been shared online.
The Opening: An Echo to 1983
The segment, called the opening chapter, takes fans back to the start of the story in the year 1983, in the wake of the disappearance of the young character.
"Should I stay or should I go?" the character hums in an effort to stay collected in the parallel world.
The situation rapidly turns terrifying as a fearsome beast appears and pulls Will to the domain of the villain. "After all this time, it's time to commence," he says to the captive simultaneously propelling a plant-like appendage through his esophagus. "The two of us, we shall create incredibly wondrous deeds in unison."
Broadcast Dates and Big Screen Events
The concluding half of the last season will be broadcast on the day after Christmas, while the last chapter available on New Year's Day – additionally set for presented in specific cinemas.

The description reads: "The fall of 1987. The town bears the marks by the opening of dimensional tears, and the protagonists join forces by one objective: find and kill Vecna. Yet he has vanished – where he is and plans unclear. Complicating the quest, the government has enforced Hawkins under strict lockdown and increased the pursuit for Eleven, pushing her to go underground. While the yearly mark of the event approaches, so does a profound, familiar dread. The final battle is approaching – and with it, a darkness mightier and more deadly than all they have encountered before. To stop this terror, it will take all members – the full party – standing together, once more."
Creator Comments
The unexpected preview was posted on the video platform after the series' Hollywood event on Thursday, featuring cast members such as the lead actress and her co-star.
"The scope of it has increased … It's more action and enhanced CGI, however it's also by far the most emotional series because it concludes of the story for each of these personas," the show's executive producer, recently said about the last chapters.
The co-producer and collaborator, added: "Bringing it out for audiences is anxiety-inducing, but we feel equipped to finally show it."
