Dacoda Nichole Jones, who also did not mention the athlete by name, posted a set of images on Instagram that appeared to show indicators of bodily harm. Jones stated the individual in question was the parent of her kids, and it is known she has kids with Rice, whom the team drafted in the 2023 draft.

Police Reports Reportedly Not on File

No official complaints were on file in Overland Park, Kansas where the alleged abuse is said to have occurred.

Player's Prior Legal Issues

The receiver missed the first six games of this season due to an league-mandated ban for his role in causing a multi-vehicle accident on a Texas roadway that resulted in several individuals injured. He was given 30 days in jail and five years’ probation after pleading guilty to serious offenses.

On the field, he concluded the year with 53 catches for 571 receiving yards and five TDs as the Kansas City finished 6-11 and missed the playoffs for the first occasion in a ten-year span.
